gHumanized (liver) mouse contributes to the malaria research"
Central Institute for Experimental Animals (CIEA) has been conducting malaria research together with Institut national de la sante et de la recherche medicale (Inserm) in France. We succeeded in developing the first complete infection model of malaria with our humanized mice.
This result is published in the journal Nature Communications on July 24, 2015.

The 64th meeting of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science was held on October 28 to 31st Baltimore, Maryland. On October 30, ICLAS chairman Steven P Pakes and Naoko Kagiyama of CIEA presented the memorial lecture on late Tatsuji Nomura, founder and former director of CIEA at the study session, gquality animals are essential for quality researchh. International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) highly recognized contribution of Tatsuji Nomura and renamed its highest award of its organization, Muhlbook award to Muhlbook-Nomura award on June 2013.

The Fourth workshop of International Workshop on Humanized Mice opens from September 30 to October 2nd in Soul, Korea. CIEA founder, late Tatsuji Nomura with a goal of embodying gBench to Bedsideh research, started this workshop. We look forward to meeting many participants in Soul, Korea.
